The OTR Training Center (OPENING SOON) will be OTR's athlete's secret weapon. Chad Andrews, founder of Total Cyclist, once told me, "You can't explain how chocolate ice cream tastes until you try chocolate ice cream." This is a great analogy because several other training methods claim to have the same results as OTR, but we stand apart with our Computrainer multi-rider classes, core strengthening and flexibility classes. The OTR Training Center uses the Computrainer in a multi-rider format combined with one of our coaches leading the class. The OTR Training Center can have 12 cyclists in one class creating a competitive environment that is set specific to your power output. There is no "acting" in our classes because everyone's information is displayed on two 55" flat screen monitors, so you know who has a monkey on their back or who is truly "On The Rivet"! Our classes are built with a specific objective that the class is accomplishing, when you leave, you can rest assured you achieved your training goal on the bike for that day. Join one of our Training Series to see how you can reach the next level of fitness. The OTR Training Center will be building it's class schedule to include strength and condition classes and flexibility classes. Specific strength/conditioning and flexibility classes will have a cycling emphasis, but most classes will be appropriate for the fitness enthusiasts, so feel free to invite your family and non cyclist friends to work out with you. The OTR Training Center is also excited to offer several different styles of Yoga that will meet all of your needs.
The OTR coaching staff can help you achieve any of your personal goals. Depending on your sporting discipline we have a coach that will meet you specific needs. The OTR coaching model is very different from the industry norm, we try to give the client as many opportunities to communicate and ride with their coach. Depending on your personal goal and your personality, choose a coaching package that will meet your needs.
The "On To Recovery" Massage Therapists will be able to help you prepare for an event and help you recover quicker for any sporting discipline you compete in. OTR Massage Therapists can also help you alleviate the stress levels of everyday life. The benefits of massage are limitless when it comes to work productivity, athletic performance and overall health. We estimate our Massage Facility should be open in the very near future.
The OTR Domestique service is very similar to the motorsport "arrive and drive". The goal of the program is to provide the elite USAC racer an opportunity to race with OTR on any of our OTR calendar races and be a part of our Cat 3 & 4, Pro 1 & 2 or Masters squad. This service will include team lodging and team transportation. When you come and race with OTR you will get a complete pro experience.
